In today’s world over 10% of the global population suffers from mental health disorders.The long-term collaboration between H.H. the XIV Dalai Lama and the most brilliant neuroscientists has lead to the discovery of the incredible potential of the human mind and how it can be trained to improve our mental well-being. The eternal conflict between science and religion has finally found common ground.

    THE RESEARCH

    In 2012, after being invited to attend several days of meetings between H.H. the Dalai Lama and some illustrious Western neuroscientists in South India, Alessandra understood the importance of the work that had been accomplished by them and the importance of making a documentary. The research for writing the script will last more than 4 years.

    THE SHOOTING

    Filming finally begins in 2017 and will take the crew to film in various countries for about a year and a half: United States (New York, Wisconsin, Virginia, Georgia), Botswana, India (Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka).

    In 2018 the editing began which will last almost 2 years with the production of an original soundtrack by Luca Morelli.

    In 2019 at the European Film Market in Berlin, the signing of two distribution contracts: one with Cineplex, an important distributor for Taiwan, and the second with Nexo Digital for the rest of the world.
