MAKARAMPA is a film production and distribution company founded in 2015 by Alessandra Pedrotti Catoni.

After enrolling at the Phillips Academy, Andover, Massachusetts, where she studied Filmmaking, and with a master’s degree from the University of Milan in International Relations, in 2010 Alessandra opened and managed for three years a non-profit contemporary art venue in Milan, spazio Morris. After considerable experience with various visual arts media, she decided to return to her great passion: filmmaking and creating treatments and screenplays for films and documentaries.

Makarampa produces films and documentaries focusing mainly on themes related to the experience of the human mind, the environment and animals.
